Mega Lucario Z ex revealed, more Mega Attack Rares shown & ex★ Star series teased

During the Worlds 2026 closing ceremony, The Pokémon Company laid out its future plans for the Pokémon TCG. Three separate announcements came out of it, and all of them matter if you are planning your next few pickups.

Mega Lucario Z ex and Sigilyph ex were revealed as part of a new upcoming set, shown in both Japanese and English printings alongside a new Riolu.

  • Japanese Mega Lucario Z ex card, 330 HP, with the Aura Seeker ability and the Dancing Fist attack
  • Japanese Sigilyph ex card, 210 HP, with the Mega Protector ability and the Power Cyclone attack
  • Japanese Riolu card, 80 HP, with a back-kick attack
  • English Mega Lucario Z ex card, 330 HP, with the Aura Seeker ability and the Dancing Fist attack
  • English Sigilyph ex card, 210 HP
  • English Riolu card, 80 HP

New Mega Attack Rare cards were also shown for Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Greninja ex and Mega Zygarde ex, from what appears to be an upcoming High Class Pack set. That would line up with the MEGA X MEGA Parade trademark.

Lastly, a new ex★ (Star) Series was teased. Raikou, Entei and Suicune were shown as part of the tease, with more details promised later.
